Kai Caspian stood in front of the Lady and the Tramp fountain, but he wasn't looking at the cute puppy display of affection, he was looking at the water. Home is where the heart is, or so they say... When Kai blacked out he heard voices, voices that told him to kill, kill, kill....And instead of fighting them, he's decided to embrace them. "Fall into darkness, let it guide you towards new horizons." Kai allowed himself to be consumed by it; what's the point of fighting an ethereal being when you can become one with it, become stronger. Although he did miss constantly being submerged underwater. "I was chosen for a reason..." he whispered. The keyblade, Mermaid's Blessing, was given to him when everything fell into a complete blackness. It just appeared in his hand, as if it was always meant to be there...The voices told him the keyblade will bend the reality of time to his favor. Everything I ever wished for....Is now possible, thanks to what's in my grasp now. The thought alone was empowering. Kai didn't know why he wound up in such a place as Traverse Town, but it was clear this wasn't his final destination. I will find my purpose. It's somewhere in this desolate universe. "It's a bit cold." The man wasn't used to the wind, nor was he used to having 'legs', but he adjusted to them quite well. TAG: MASON VESELA

Well, someone was pretty serious, weren't they?
Meanwhile, Mason was trying to figure out what kind of fountain this was exactly. This was certainly a human sized fountain, but there were no humans in it. There was a statue of two dogs on it, not a human, too. So that made this... A dog fountain? Like a bird bath? But there were no dogs in it either. Perhaps it was broken, or perhaps the culture here was still more different than how he expected Earth to be. He must find a dog at once and test this. For now, he should test it for humans!
Ah, but Veser wasn't a human, now, was he? Sure, for all intents and purposes and appearances he was human. But he was certain he still had his original biological make-up of his people that would allow him to also appear as a dog or a lamp if he would so choose. He didn't really want to blow his cover, though, and it hadn't really come up yet. He'd have to find someone to test it on first. Luckily there was such a specimen lingering about the fountain already!
"Entry zero-o-seventeen-two-C: date [redacted] at [redacted], dark-time. A male of the humanoid species of this 'Traverse Town' is considering the fountain featuring two canines." Then, silence after speaking to himself in common galactic dialect in a low voice. He held the record device in hand as he waited and observed, out of view of the man yet still holding himself with baited breath. Was he going to...? No?
'It's a bit cold.'
Siiiiiigh. Humans were so... So..! Picky. Maybe he should nudge this along. Convince him that the water wasn't cold at all. Perfect for a nice human bath. But he didn't want to spook him either. This was so tough. Suppose he could find another person to study if he messed this up..? Anyway.
Veser ventured from the alley he'd been hiding in to peek at the stranger after tucking away the device, careful in his approach to the fountain before standing up on the ledge of the fountain. But then he realized that he didn't know the first thing about human bathing customs in public baths like this. Did they keep their clothes on? Instead, timidly he knelt down and reached into the water as if to test it with his fingers, and he offered an opinion in clumsy English. "Not cold! Is good. Nice!" He insisted.
